Conservatories

Give your customers another room that is light and airy for entertaining, is somewhere to relax, or just somewhere to have a little own-space. It can be a second lounge, a dining room, a home office, or even a stunning contemporary kitchen. Modern conservatories and orangeries are precision-engineered, constructed using technically advanced materials, and are very stylish. You can provide your customers with space, make their homes better looking, and increase the value of their property.

Patio doors

Patio doors are the ultimate in sleek uncluttered design incorporating superb engineering. The doors glide easily on stainless steel tracks and rollers which have been tested over thousands of cycles. Multi-point hook latches and anti-jacking technology provide the security, and then there is the safety of toughened glass. Energy-efficient glazing means that your customers can enjoy all the benefits of a light-filled home and still be warm and cosy. Doors can be built with 2, 3 or 4 panes and configured to suit the home. They are available in a range of colours, in woodgrain finishes, or the always-stylish simplicity of white.

French Doors

French doors have always been elegant and are a classic design that will never go out of fashion. Now with the advantages of modern materials and thermally-efficient glazing they are a practical and secure addition to any home. They can be built to open inwards or outwards and can include optional extras such as midrails or Georgian bars to suit any style of property or to match any existing glazing. Using multi-chambered PVCu for building French doors makes them robust, suitable for any amount of traffic and requiring very little maintenance. The slim profiles allow the maximum amount of light into your customers' homes.

Bi-folding doors

Bi-folding doors give your customers the best of both worlds. When open they are really good for entertaining or simply enjoying the garden. When closed they protect your customers from the weather whilst flooding the home with natural light. The PVCu bi-folds we supply are configured to suit your customer, giving them a choice of internal or external opening and access door position. Slim profiles, reinforced for hidden strength, are used to maximise the glass surface area. Energy-efficient and toughened glass is used throughout for comfort and safety; top quality locks are used; along with proven weatherseals for warmth, dryness, safety and security. PVCu bi-folding doors are very easy to maintain and will never warp or rot. They are available in a range of attractive colours and finishes to complement the style of your customers' homes.

The patent pending PremiFold window and door system brings together unique hardware and the proven C70 and O70 Gold® window and doors systems. The result is a PAS 24 certified sliding swing and folding door and separate window solution for the modern home.

Innovation and Energy Efficiency

PremiFold is the latest in a long line of product innovations from Kömmerling. It’s quite simply a revelation in the way in which windows and doors can be opened, helping to maximise ventilation, without compromising on security. It’s a sliding, swing and folding system that as easy to install as it is to operate.

Kömmerling and its parent company, Profine Group, also lead the way across Europe with their lead-free Greenline compound that was developed over a decade ago. In the UK some systems companies still use lead as a stabiliser in their PVCu compound. At Profine, they understand the importance of the environment in terms of harmful materials, recycling and energy efficiency.

  • PremiFold harness existing C70 and O70 Gold® profiles.
  • No visible hinges and hardware.
  • Double and triple glazed units to a max height of 3 metres.
  • No limit to the number of panels as they operate individually.
  • Single leg glazing bead that is highly secure and easy to install on site.
  • Steel reinforcement used where needed to add additional structural strength.

Style

All your customers will be different and will like different things. That's not a problem because you will be able to build the conservatory or orangery the way they want it to be: to match or complement their home and to work for their lifestyle. They can choose from the light, graceful lines of a conservatory, or the solid, pillared look of an orangery extension. They can choose a contemporary style or opt for a more traditional appearance. They can choose a simple rectangular footprint or a more complex shape. Slim PVCu frames are available in a smart bevelled shape or with a gentle curved profile so that existing glazing can be matched. Your customers can pick from classic white, or any of the beautiful, coloured or wood-grained finishes. They can ask for feature glazing, ridge details and any other finishing touches they want to be added.

Structure

All the conservatories and orangeries we supply can be bespoke, tailor made, just the way your customers want their conservatory or orangery to be. We can help guide you through the important decisions and, of course, ensure that the structure meets all building regulations, is robust, weatherproof and safe.

Sanctuary offers a choice of window frame types, all made from low-maintenance, impact-resistant PVCu, which is strong, lightweight and very durable. You can have double-opening French doors, sleek and stylish sliding doors or opt for the wide open look with superb bi-folds. We offer a choice of premium roofing systems, including lightweight polycarbonate, perfect for anyone working to a budget, and a range of glass roof options which includes self-cleaning coatings, roof ventilation and energy-efficient, insulating glass.

Security

Our doors and windows have achieved PAS24 accreditation for enhanced security and are designed to withstand attempts to break in. We use highly-secure, multi-point locking systems for your customers peace of mind. All of our glazed doors, adjacent and low-level windows are fitted with toughened safety glass.

Energy-Efficiency

Today’s conservatories are better insulated than ever, thanks to the development of highly-efficient windows and doors. PVCu profiles are insulating with a multi-chambered, thermal barrier construction. Sealed-units are made using low-emissivity glass which has a special coating that allows warmth from the sun into your customers homes, but helps to keep that warmth inside. With double or triple-glazed options, the windows in your customers' conservatories could achieve an A+ Window Energy Rating.

The energy-efficiency of your customers' conservatories and orangeries is affected by all sorts of factors including location. For more information about how to achieve on how to achieve the best energy efficiency talk to our experts.

The environment

PVCu is a lot greener than you might think. It’s very durable and products made from it need replacing less frequently. At the end of a long life, PVCu products can be easily recycled. In fact, a lot of our frames already contain recycled materials, but don’t worry, there’s absolutely no compromise on appearance or performance. Maintenance is as simple as a wipe with a soapy cloth, so there’s no painting or preservatives to worry about, and because PVCu is a good insulator, using it to make window frames helps to lower fuel bills and reduce carbon emissions.

Our quality

The conservatories and orangeries we supply are made using kite-marked profiles and accredited as being responsibly sourced. Our windows and doors have achieved British Standards for weather performance, and passed the relevant security standards.
